What is a Trading Online Voucher?
The Trading Online Voucher is a grant that is on offer from the Local Enterprise Office with the help through the Government’s National Digital Strategy to help small Irish businesses to grow their online presence and boost sales. By participating in the Trading Online Voucher Scheme you’ll be allowing your business to boost online sales and reach new markets!
How much is the Trading Online Voucher Worth?
The Trading Online Voucher offers financial assistance of up to a whopping €2,500 with co-funding of 50% from the business. Training and advice will also be on offer from the LEO to get your business trading online.
Who can apply for the Grant?
The vouchers are aimed at helping businesses that meet the following criteria:
- Limited or no e-commerce presence
- Have a turnover of less than €2 million
- 10 or less employees
- The business must be trading for at least 6 months
- The business must be located in the area covered by the LEO to whom they make their application
If you have applied for the TO voucher before you are able to apply for a second time as long as you have submitted your final claim for the first voucher.

You can use the Trading Online Voucher for a number of things, such as:
- Developing a new website
- Digital marketing
- Social Media Marketing

How to Apply for the Voucher?
You can apply for Online Trading Voucher through the LEO site. Once you navigate to your Local Enterprise Office page (e.g Dublin City) through the homepage and then click on “Trading Online Voucher Scheme” which is located under the Financial Support tab (see below)
You will have to attend a mandatory online information session. The online information sessions usually take place once a month and the next available date can be seen on the site. On completion of the information session, you will be emailed a link to the online application.
